Anonymous Call Rejection

Automatically rejects all calls from withheld numbers. (Restricted means the caller withheld the calling number.)

To Activate: Dial *77.

To Deactivate: Dial *87.

Automatic Call Back

Keeps dialing busy numbers and tells you when the line is free.

To Activate: When a busy signal is received, hang up and then dial *66. You will hear an announcement. Hang up. The line will be checked for 30 minutes and give you a special ring when it is free.

To Deactivate: Dial *86.

Automatic Recall

Lets you redial the caller if you couldn’t answer the telephone in time.

To Activate: Dial *69. You will hear an announcement telling you the number of the last person to call you. Dial 1 to call the number. If the line is busy, you will receive an announcement and your phone will try the number in 30 minutes.

To Deactivate: Dial *89.

Call Forwarding

Forward incoming calls to any other telephone number.

To Activate: Dial *72 and listen for a second dial tone. When you hear this, dial the number you want your calls to go to. When someone answers at the number you dialed, Call Forwarding is activated. If you receive a busy signal or no answer hang up and try again within two minutes. You will get a confirmation tone verifying activation.

To Deactivate: Dial *73 and listen for confirmation tone.

Call Forwarding - Busy

Forward incoming calls to a predetermined number, if your line is busy.

To Activate: Dial *90 and wait for the second dial tone. When second dial tone is received, dial the number you want your calls to go to. When someone answers at the number you dialed, Call Forwarding is activated. If you receive a busy signal or no answer, hang up and try again in two minutes. You will get a confirmation tone verifying activation.

To Deactivate: Dial *91 and listen for confirmation tone.

Call Forwarding - Don’t Answer

Forwards incoming calls to a predetermined number, if you are not able to answer a call.

To Activate: Dial *92 and wait for the second dial tone. When second dial tone is received dial the number you want your calls to go to. When someone answers at the number dialed, Call Forwarding is activated. If you receive a busy signal or no answer, hang up and try again within two minutes.

To Deactivate: Dial *93 and wait for confirmation tone.

Call Waiting

Allows you to handle more than one call from a single line. A tone alerts you when a second call is coming in.

To Activate: This feature is activated by VC Co-op.

To Answer an Incoming Call: Press the receiver hook or flash button (if equipped). This will place the first call on hold and connect you with the second call. Repeat the same procedure to toggle between callers.

Call Waiting for Caller ID

While in conversation, a second incoming calling phone number will be displayed, giving you the option to place call one on hold and answer the second call. (Must have Caller ID and Call Waiting.)

To Answer an Incoming Call: Press the receiver hook or flash button (if equipped). This will place the first call on hold and connect you with the second call. Repeat the same procedure to toggle between callers.

Caller ID

Allows you to see the number of the calling party before you answer the call.

To Activate: This features is activated at Vernon Communications Co-op.

To block your Name and Number from being displayed: Dial *67 and the number you wish to call.

Do Not Disturb

Prevents all incoming calls from ringing on your phone.

To Activate: Dial *78.

To Deactivate: Dial *79.

Find Me Follow Me

Callers can reach you on up to five different phones, by dialing just one number. The phones can ring simultaneously or in the order of your choice.

Reminder Call (Wake Up Call)

Allows the subscriber to schedule a reminder call at a set time of day. An announcement is played when the subscriber answers.

Selective Call Acceptance

Allows you to program up to ten numbers that you only wish to receive calls from.

To Activate and Deactivate: Dial *64 and follow the recorded instructions.

Selective Call Forwarding

Allows subscribers to select a list of calling numbers whose calls will automatically be forwarded.

Selective Call Rejection

Allows you to block up to ten numbers you do not wish to receive calls from.

To Activate and Deactivate: Dial *60 and follow recorded instructions.

Three Way Calling

Allows three parties at three different numbers to talk.

To Use: Make your first phone call. Notify the party that you will be putting them on hold. Press the receiver hook or flash button. A confirmation tone is heard. Make your second call. When second call is answered, press the receiver hook or flash button. Both calls should connect automatically. Note: One incoming call can be conferenced to a second outgoing call. Two incoming calls will not work with this feature. If you have finished your conversation with the second call and want to continue with the first call, simply hang up the phone and it will ring back to you.

Voice Mail

Basic Voice Mail is similar to an answering machine, only there is no equipment. Allows callers the ability to leave a message if you do not answer or are on the telephone.

ACCESSING YOUR VOICE MAIL:

  • Dial _ _ _ -MAIL (6245). (Insert your exchange prefix. All Viroqua customers must dial 638-6245. All Cashton customers must dial 634-6245.) Then either (A) If using Auto Login and accessing from your home phone no entry requried. (B) Press # if calling from the phone your voice mail is subscribed to. (C) Enter your 10 digit telephone number, if calling from a remote phone.
  • If requested, enter your password, followed by the # key. Your password will be your VC Co-op account number by default. To change your password, go to mailbox setup.
  • Main Menu: Press 1 to retrieve messages, Press 3 to send, Press 7 for current date and time, or Press 9 for mailbox setup, the first new message will play immediately. To Change or Record Your Greeting: 1) Press 1: Greeting Options 2) Press 2 : Re-Record You Greeting 3) Press # : End Recording Function.
  • Press 1: Listen to Greeting Options in Message Retrieval: (1) Press 1 : New Message (2) Press 2 : Save Messages (3) Press *: Return to Main Menu
  • To Listen to Message (1) Press 1 to Play or re-play message (2) Press 2 to Save Messages (3) Press 3 to Delete Message
VOICE MAIL TO EMAIL (FREE WITH VOICE MAIL)

Receive an email with an attached WAV file each time someone leaves you a voice message.

Allows the subscriber to block any outgoing long distance calling.
