Network Ops Center Technician
This diverse and exciting position provides technical support for VernonCom members and employees as well as central office and network equipment installation, provisioning and troubleshooting. This position answers and responds to customer and field technician calls regarding service orders, trouble tickets and general service information. The Noc Technician offers basic technical support to customers and performs basic digital switch and access network equipment provisioning and troubleshooting. This position sets appointments, dispatches technicians and coordinates repairs with customers. Service order provisioning and deprovisioning of voice, internet and video services. In addition, the Noc Technician monitors network alarms and clears trouble according to designated procedures. Works with Noc team to ensure VernonCom members experience the very best experience with voice, video and data services.
Network Engineer
As Network Engineer, you’ll hold the responsibility to design, update and monitor data networking systems and equipment. The Network Engineer will review network traffic, usage and capacity to assess future network requirements. You’ll work in conjunction with VC’s NOC staff and leadership to ensure VC’s network remains progressive, reliable and secure.
